SPICY MEATBALLS


Ingredients for the meatballs

1800 g of minced turkey and veal, mixed

2 fresh eggs

20 g salt

Pepper

Chives

Thyme

Fresh oregano

Ingredients for the sauce

2 x 250 ml packs coconut milk

Fresh ginger, grated

1 shallot, chopped

Turmeric

Cardamom

Coriander

Zest and juice of one lemon

Salt

Pepper

Vegetable broth

Chilli

Oil for cooking

Method

Mix the minced meat with salt, pepper, eggs and chopped herbs. Form into balls. Fry the meatballs in a large pan until cooked through. Once cooked, sauté the shallot until soft, add the coconut milk, spices, lemon juice and zest. Stretch with little broth and bring to boiling. Serve meatballs hot with plenty of sauce.
