RAMUN, new lighting brand, presents at Fuorisalone 2013 the new collection of LED light designed by Alessandro Mendini. Atelier Mendini studied the web design of the company, the marketing, the showroom and the logo.

The lamp Amuleto, the main product designed by Alessandro Mendini, ideally encloses in itself the universe, including in its structure three circles that recall the sun, the moon and the earth. A real lucky lamp characterized by a line of rings similar to the call of angels, and it has a unique and patented joint system that allows the light to be positioned in any direction. This joint system without visible wires and springs amplifies the beauty of the lamp and, thanks to its design, can be moved with the touch of a finger of children. The first circle is the base, the second is the joint point, the third contain the light itself with LED. Amuleto has another smaller version, called Amuleto mini.

Amuleto is free of harmful material to human body and it is certified to the European RoHS directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in EEE (electrical and electronic equipment), limiting the use of hazardous materials such as a lead and  mercury. It can be used worldwide minimizing the emission of electromagnetic waves and keeping magnetic and electric fields within safe levels, and it has been developed in order to avoid electric shock during dismounting process. It is also tested by eyes center in university hospital in relation to the non-emissions of ultraviolet and infrared rays. Finally Amuleto, by adjusting the light through a sensor from 1 (brightness of a candle) to 11 degrees, provides the correct light for children’s room during lactation without disturbing the eyes of infants.
