The stainless steel specialists W&B Metal Solutions have developed their Magic-i-Cooking System to let people plan a cooking area to exactly suit their cooking style. The i-Cooking solution is a brilliant alternative to a conventional hob and cooking plates. Individual single hobs – gas burners and/or induction fields – are built directly into the worktop using the company’s special technology. The smooth sweep of the worktop completely surrounds the single hobs. Apart from the practical benefits, the fascinating new look gives this key working area an almost magic aura.

Users decide how many burners they want, how powerful and how they want to position them. For example, people who entertain a lot or with big families could choose a layout where they don’t have to juggle very large pots and pans on a conventional hob. W&B naturally also offers a range of pre-laid out configurations which take the effort out of decision-making.

The newest gas burners offer a choice of output and there’s also a professional wok burner (0.18 to 6.0 kW). A Magic-i-Cooking Cooking System can be built into worktops made of stainless steel, glass ceramic and granite. Wooden worktops and other types of stone have recently been added to this list.

Magic-i-Cooking: induction

The Magic-i-Cooking System is also ideal with induction cooking fields. Like gas, induction is a sustainable and energy-friendly way to cook. The W&B system offers a free choice of induction plates, which can be flexibly configured as on-top or inset plates. Each of the plates is connected centrally to the central control panel and operated with the fingertip control typical for induction hobs. The system incorporates the latest induction technology and offers a number of extra functions, such as fast
