De’Longhi’s MultiFry prepares side dishes
for your barbecue

Summer’s here and with it, the barbecue season. Barbecued food tastes better with a choice of different side dishes. Crispy light potatoes are so easy to make with De’Longhi’s MultiFry low fat fryer. They are a great accompaniment to any barbecue and are almost fat free.

Whilst you keep an eye on the barbecue, the MultiFry can prepare the side dishes, quickly, automatically and what’s more low in fat. The MultiFry from De’Longhi is a low-fat fryer and multicooker in one. It cooks, fries and bakes so is incredibly versatile. Its coated spiral heaters both above and below the pan ensure an evenly distributed air flow around the food. The exclusive convection heating system SHS (surround heating system) means the MultiFry can make great chips, fish and meat dishes, cakes, pizza and much more. The dishes are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, just as they should be.

There is a stirring element which means that potato wedges and chips can be turned at regular intervals and dishes like stews and risottos do not burn. The element can be removed for cooking or baking.

Keep your head clear to focus on the meat
and salad

Once set in motion, the MultiCooker operates completely independently to conjure up all the accompaniments to grilled meats. So you have a clear head in order to turn the meat on the grill or make the salad in the kitchen.

The MultiFry can make large amounts of food at once. The top model, the MultiFry Extra Chef, holds up to 1.7 kilos of fresh potato wedges or up to 1.5 kilos if they are frozen.  The latter can be prepared without the addition of oil. The MultiFry is therefore the ideal device for people who are on a diet or want to save time. It can prepare a variety of low-fat dishes at the touch of a button.

Intelligent programs

To make food preparation even easier, the Extra Chef also has pre-installed programs for cooking potatoes, pizza, cakes, stews and risottos. A digital control panel facilitates the setting of temperature and performance of the two heating elements. All models are fitted with a transparent cover, through which the cooking process can easily be controlled – without opening it. The MultiFry pan has a scratch-resistant, non-stick ceramic coating. The MultiFry is easy to clean because the pan, lid and stirring element can be removed and are dishwasher safe.

The MultiFry is aimed at young households, who want healthy, varied and uncomplicated food. To start you off, the MultiFry comes with 15 recipes. Additionally there is a free De’Longhi app with a further 250 recipes to make with the MultiFry – to cook and experiment.
