Homemade ravioli is quick and easy

Filled pasta – ravioli in Italy, Maultaschen in Germany – can contain all sorts of delicious fillings, from delicate to hearty. And with these GEFU kitchen tools you can make them easily at home.

Ravioli /Maultaschen board 3-part

If you want to make larger quantities (12 at a time), then the 3-part ravioli board is for you. It consists of an aluminium tray, a plastic mould which shapes the pockets in the dough and a wooden rolling pin. You simply spread a sheet of pasta dough over the floured tray, shape the pockets by pressing with the plastic mould. Then you fill the pockets you've created with the filling of your choice, paint the edges with egg yolk (using, for example, GEFU's BECKY pastry brush) and cover with another layer of dough. Run the rolling pin lightly over the dough, then simply press out the 12 finished ravioli. The non-stick coating makes sure they come out easily.

Folding ravioli mould

This stainless steel ravioli mould is the perfect tool for making individual culinary treats. Cut out the shape from your rolled-out dough using the bottom part of the mould. Pop the dough into the mould, drop in your delicious filling, brush the edges with egg yolk, close the mould, drop out the finished ravioli and cook as usual. Finished! Choose from rectangular and round stainless steel moulds or a set of three plastic moulds in different sizes.
